Anushree and Vinay’s nuptials planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Theme Weavers Designs, spanned across Jodhpur’s iconic landmarks. The couple’s magnificent new beginning, filled with special moments with their loved ones, was deftly captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – Knotting Bells. Here is what their big day had in store.

Wedding Venue
Anushree hails from Jodhpur and Vinay, who is now based in London, was born and brought up in Southern India. The couple and their families were looking to host a wedding that celebrated the traditions of both sides. They decided to celebrate their big day in the bride’s hometown of Rajasthan while also including elements from the groom’s culture into the functions.

Wedding Planning
Piecing together every little detail of Anushree and Vinay’s nuptials were Theme Weavers Designs. The team worked tirelessly to bring the couple’s vision to life, leveraging their expertise to add beauty and magic to every function; each event exploring a distinctive celebratory concept.

Knotting Bells photographed the couple’s wedding, preserving their most treasured memories in beautiful frames. The brilliantly-composed pictures revealed the truest of emotions among the guests, showcasing the team’s intuitive and artistic approach towards their work.

Wedding Functions

Engagement
Organized at Pratap Niwas – An Amritara Resort, Anushree and Vinay’s engagement party was a royal affair. Designed using countless mirror panels and a few minimalistic canopies, the decor transformed the grounds of this 400-year-old ancestral palace into modern-day sheesh mahal. The event used creative lighting and sparkling chandeliers to create an ambiance that was absolutely spellbinding.

Mehndi
After showcasing the regal splendor of the Blue City, the mehndi ceremony was used to highlight the city’s vibrant folksy side. The function took place at WelcomHotel Jodhpur, which was decorated in cheery yellow, bright fuchsia, refreshing green and warm orange tones. The photobooth saw a backdrop of tassels and camel cut-outs, all of which were suspended using golden gota patti. Pretty floral arrangements floated over the pool and a Rajasthani puppet show was also set up. To heighten the cultural appeal, the planners hired talented folk performers to entertain the guests.

Sangeet
With the theme ‘Dancing Dunes’, the couple’s sangeet was truly a unique affair. It was held on the sands of WelcomHotel Khimsar Fort and Dunes. Emulating the natural environment, the stage was designed with sand art decor on the ground. Warm yellow lights added to the desert appeal. A hot air balloon provided a marvelously unique experience, allowing guests to get an aerial view of the celebration.

Wedding
Anushree and Vinay’s wedding ceremony was given the theme ‘Lotus Love’. The color palette was made up of lime green, pinks and yellows. The mandap used white carnations and lotuses and was surrounded by amphitheater-style seating for the guests. The planners also created a covered dining area for a sit-down dinner, with a ceiling of stunning inverted lotuses.
