In 2006, inspired by the beauty of the Andaman beaches, Prerana created her first themed celebration, transforming a black space with immersive details. With a belief that "themes are all we live in," she soon began curating thoughtfully designed events. In 2008, her sister Anushree joined her, and together they founded Theme Weavers Designs, now recognised among India’s top 10 luxury destination wedding companies.

Their first wedding at Rambagh Palace, Jaipur, in 2010 set them on a path to grandeur, but it was the royal wedding reception for Maharaja Gaj Singh Ji’s son in 2013 that truly defined their journey. They introduced the concept of ‘Panchranga’, a tribute to Jodhpur’s heritage, reinforcing their approach—blending tradition, creativity, and a personal touch.

With over 250 luxury weddings to their name, Theme Weavers Designs continues to create extraordinary, culture-rich celebrations, transforming palaces, heritage sites, and iconic venues into unforgettable wedding experiences.

Prerana and Anushree have been celebrated for initiatives like Royal Rendezevous, WEDinINDIA - bringing weddings back to India, creating opportunities for specially-abled child artists, and sharing surplus event food with old age homes—a heartfelt initiative they call ‘WEAVING HOPE’!

Prerana, the Founder & CEO of Theme Weavers Designs, followed her instincts in 2008 to establish what would become one of India’s leading luxury wedding planning firms. Her vision and creativity have shaped countless unforgettable celebrations, making TWD a name synonymous with excellence in the industry.

Her journey began in the banking sector, where she spent four years before embracing her true passion for designing extraordinary events. Today, she ensures that TWD remains at the forefront of creativity, delivering seamless and visionary experiences.

Believing that honest communication is the key to a successful event, Prerana’s goal is to set new benchmarks in destination weddings in India whilst contributing to the growth and evolution of the wedding community.

Annushree Agarwal, co-founder of Theme Weavers Designs, propels TWD forward with her passion for exploration and innovative ideas. With a 360-degree approach to event design, she brings a wealth of experience from publication houses, PR, hospitality, and event management.

Her expertise lies in palatial design, creative collaborations, and culinary curation, ensuring every event is a masterpiece. She has been instrumental in expanding TWD globally, establishing its presence in the UK and Italy.

Anushree believes in embracing new challenges and giving everything a try at least once.
