A TRULY MYSTICAL WHITE WINTER THEMED DESTINATION WEDDING IN JAISALMER

One such memory is from a destination wedding in Jaisalmer, done at the royal Suryagarh fort. Our client wanted to use the beauty of the majestic fort at night and wanted us to create something which will captivate the guests. We came up with a white winter themed design plan. See below on how it turned out!
When you hear the word winter, what image does your mind conjure? Snowflakes, icy tree branches devoid of leaves, frost, and simply everything around you reflects tones of white, silver and blue? It’s the most wonderful time of the year, when the weather is pleasant in our country, and the holidays are right around the corner, setting the mood for celebration.
All these things popped into our minds too, when a client came up to us and requested for a winter-themed wedding. And that’s how we ended up creating a magical winter theme wedding decor at Suryagarh Fort, a luxury heritage property in Jaisalmer. We came up with designs and ideas that captured the essence of the season wonderfully.
However, implementing the ideas was a challenge, but also lots of fun, and immensely satisfying as well! Here are some of the elements that stood out at the venue:

Snowflakes for the wintry vibe
The entrance as well as the nooks and corners in the seating area were decorated with snowflake garlands. Fashioned out of lovely snowflake cut outs that had a laser-cut finish, these pretty garlands heightened the lovely winter wedding theme of the decor.
White, white and more white!

When passion and creativity meet hard work, the result looks something like this…
Nothing says winter more than the colour white, so that was our choice for everything, including the chairs and table covers, as well as the covers for all the pillars and posts in the venue. So when the guests entered, they instantly felt like they stepped in a winter wonderland.
Colour tints
The basic colours that came into play for the event were white, blue and silver. Working with these winter colours on LED light projectors placed around the venue, we built the entire decor theme for the wedding. White string lights and small battery operated candles were also used strategically.
Candles and floral arrangements
Beauty lies in the details—we couldn’t agree more. Winter bloom in glass vases resting on the illuminated ice cube!
Sitting pretty on the tables were clear vases with red and/or white flowers, set atop blocks of ice. Another centrepiece design that mesmerized guests was made up of a floral ring, with a clear candelabrum in the centre, bearing multiple white candles for a dramatic look.
All these elements complemented each other perfectly to lend an amazing finish to our winter theme wedding decor. Not only were our clients happy, but their guests were enthralled too. After all, it’s not every day that you get to witness and attend such a unique, remarkable winter wedding!
