Reminiscing 3 Decades of JJ Valaya Couture
A memorable collaboration with JJ Valaya was the coming together of the maestro of fashion and luxurious decor. We designed the celebration of completion of successful 3 decades of JJ Valaya at the Couture Week 2022. It was a classic, where we used elements from the Renaissance period to highlight the grandeur of the occasion. Take a walk through this magnificent event!

Milan : Theme Weavers Designs x JJ Valaya

The event was inspired by the regal architectural elements of European cities which traversed into a spectacular play of art, history and fashion. Since the era, Florence and Madrid are considered as the hubs of art, culture and literature and are known for their remarkable artisans and artists across the world. This event was the recreation of these historical places, its essence, its art and its paintings.

JJ Valaya: The Man Who is an Inspiration for the Fashion World

The Renaissance era in Europe was filled with inspirations that gave birth to our idea behind decorating and setting the stage right for JJ Valaya's celebration of 30 years into the fashion world. For us, JJ Valaya is an inspiration himself who supported us in each step we took together to accomplish a masterpiece. He is the man who has been, and continues to be a renowned name in the fashion industry. He has created breathtaking silhouettes for celebrities globally. His love for history and culture reflects in the luxurious pieces he creates.

Time Travel into the Majestic History

Golden arches, representational art, mosaics, portraits, decorative stones and majestic pillars formed the foundational elements of the decor. It was a work of art to be recalled for decades, simply like the European Renaissance period that forms the basis of inspiration for artists across the globe. We also incorporated designs and elements from Palazzo Vecchio which is a famous historical palace in Florence, Italy. It is known for its richness, Renaissance sculptures and intricate wall art. The ceilings, pillars and wall art of the set were all inspired from this great historical building in Italy.
